    lol - fact is i've invested a hellova lot of time in this forum - both posting stuff which i figured would help educate some, and often just posting stuff i figured would entertain some. yeh yeh i've posted stuff as well trying to keep some honest too. being human i've erred as well! the point though is i've invested loads of time in this forum building relationships as well.

    The thought of possibly having that taken away from me - permanently - by somebody i dont even know - is a bit too much for me to get my mind around...

    I doubt it I imagine any banning would be reviewed by GP and any abuse by a moderator would result in them (the Mod) being banned. I think Faceless Mods are the only way to fly here otherwise anyone who becomes mod will have their alter ego comments taken differently.

    I don't think anyone would ban you mate - put you in the naughty corner for a day or 2 maybe but not ban ;)

    thanks mate, but truth of the matter is there are a couple of individuals here who would if they could!
    I am however confident in the process now and am not worried anymore :D

    Guys like me and Renovator do provide some comic relief every now and then - without intent of malice. Just dont be a wuss and you'll be okay :lol:

    I've seen quite a few really enthusiastic posters on silver over the years just burn out and their voice is lost forever in the debate about sound money versus government mandated fiat currency. Sad really, because they usually have a lot of good things to say due to their honest and emotional relationship to the subject. Ultimately, their obsessive behaviour becomes self-destructive. I've probably been there myself, if I was honest.

    Hope you can find a balance, YKY and ride out this most interesting of times by providing valuable input to the new entrants as they come along.

    Still got a few transactions and wishlists to honour before I "fly away home", luv.

    In the meantime, I will keep a bug eye on the goings on in here....mostly for entertainment purposes. :rolleyes:

    Yeah, sounds like a plan....especially as the Royal Scotsman pulls up at the station which is about 200m from my house most weekends. :D
