Birds of a feather lucky .You can all flap around together over nothing. If it was so bad GP would have edited it .A perfect example of the easily offended having a whinge again.Leave it to the moderators i say .
Renovator, I agree that this particular post of Ozboy's was pretty tame but I have seen posts from him directed at particular members that were slanderous and discriminatory and made him out to me to be lower than the belly of a snake. GP thought the same thing because the thread that contained these awful comments was deleted completely (It was originally a thread started by YKY). As such, I think that Ozboy should steer clear from anything to do with religion in the future and it wouldn't surprise me if GP has stipulated this also. However, I applaud Thucy for his input, even though I feel that he shouldn't need to have to defend his personal beliefs in a forum of this nature.
Your posts, like your projectionistic signature, are often personally objectional. That doesn't mean GP needs/should edit them out or a moderator to ban you. You objectionable posts serve merely to highlight your nature and as such, should definitely be left to stand within this or any other thread (unless they cross the red line of legally unacceptable in which case they should then be reported).
lucky your attempts to belittle me are disgusting ....no they are amusing  .my signature is objectionable too? hahaha wow you really have some issues.
Well, I've googled it and wikipediaed it, but I can't get any closer to the adjective "projectionistic", beyond someone who works at the pictures. Please explain??
had a quick glance thru the muck. Anyone want to talk footy grand finals? Thats all folks................
Start a thread in GD about the League and I'll be there to headbutt with anyone (in a forum acceptable manner of course).
Perhaps I am in the minority, however I believe that in the right context, religion deserves to be debated in SS provided it is done with sensitivity and respect. Name calling is not being respectful. Whilst I am not familiar with the koran, I do know that the christian bible references siver and gold in many verses, as do the jewish sacred books and some christian religions even actively support the buying of gold for their church. Does this affect the price of gold and silver? In the quantities that I suspect are bought and sold - yes, and consequently, in my view, worthy of discussion. Further, whether we like to believe it or not, issues such as the religion of climate change and politics including various proposed budgetry and taxation initiatives also have an effect on PM's through the various countries economy. Take away discussion of religion, politics and even climate change from SS, and you are effectively left with a forum primarily for traders. Just my 2 cents worth.
I was talking AFL - Rugby is limited over here in the west especially since our team can't seem to string a great season together.
i cant stand the AFL or rugby but did anyone notice the report of a huge solar flare (AR 1302) http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/sunearth/news/News092511-ar1302.html UPDATE 09.26.11 - A strong-to-severe (Kp=8) geomagnetic storm is in progress following the impact of a coronal mass ejection (CME) at approximately 8:15a.m. EDT (12:15 UT) on Sept. 26. The Goddard Space Weather Lab reported a strong compression of Earth's magnetosphere. Simulations indicate that solar wind plasma has penetrated close to geosynchronous orbit starting at 9am. Geosynchronous satellites could therefore be directly exposed to solar wind plasma and magnetic fields. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras after nightfall. UPDATE 09.27.11 - The severe geomagnetic storm (Kp=7-8) that began yesterday when a CME hit Earth's magnetic field is subsiding. At the peak of the disturbance, auroras were sighted around both poles and in more than five US states including Michigan, New York, South Dakota, Maine, and Minnesota.
Your comment is being respectfully ignored. If you wish to pursue the issue, then please use the PM function and we can discuss further in plain English.
The discussion itself is fine, however just like any public space, we come from diverse background/ age/ maturity/ point of view/etc Communications is not human's strongest point and miscommunication happens often, even with written words. Debate supposedly is to enrich each party intelectually, however we wear our emotion and pride with every word we type. When some of us are emotionally unstable, we get offended and we try to one up each other with every statement, eventually resulting in forum flame wars. Some actually actively bait for flame. I guess if we want to continue discussions, then everyone must self moderate and self resolve arguments.
Seriously, you people have too much time on your hands. I didn't even know a 'General Discussion' forum existed until I stumbled across this thread. Between checking the silver and gold (and coin versions) discussion threads, the trading forums, and spannermonkey's daily post on 'What I bought today', I don't have time to read anything else. GP - If it's causing you a problem, just kill it. No big loss. If a member is being a dick, just ban him/her.
