It does look shiny (missing 'frosting'), but I think that they are still referrenced as 'black spots' right?
yennus said:Yep.
Catseye said:I didn't know that, I thought BSOD referred to a lack of silver/thinness in the plating process.
I have never seen/held one in my hand, only pictures.
So plating causes defect in the frosting to be shiny?

worldbubble said:So, any thoughts on 1984 pandas?
Don't know if I should bid on them or just let it go to others if I'm not sure they are genuine.

It takes some time - till the buyer leaves a feedback to the seller - then you can go to seller rating, and find buyer id. That is what I do.
oooh I see...But usually the buyer already have paid and received the items...

I am 99.9% sure this is another Fake , it is a bad blurry picture but the to me the luster, top of the temple and date look wrong, and I believe the real 2000 mirrored have 4 pillars in the bottom row on each side of the stairs on the temple side , this looks to only have 3. I contacted the seller and for now I do NOT think this seller knows or believes this is a fake . Am I wrong on this???
