Phoney Pandas

I think I have seen the slab and photos and description on another ebay sale.

Coin looks legit but seller is dodgy.

Im the new guy here. :cool:

Can someone confirm that this coin is a fake?

In my opinion it definitely is. And heres why:

The tip off for me is the temple roof tiers. The leading edge of each roof tier looks completely wrong.

Another area is the rug on the stairs. It looks alot like all the fake 2010 rugs that are out there.

Also the pillars on the edges of the stairway look different and they look too short.

For me all the clues are on the back of the coin. The front i had alot of trouble putting my finger on any real problem areas. It seemed that the number 1 was a little off. (maybe)

I informed the seller but he still went ahead and sold the first coin of the two anyways. He did message me and tell me that he was going to have ebay take action and that he was going to track things with the person he sold it too. My only problem is that he still has another fake 2004 for sale and he hasnt bothered taking it down.

Hello and welcome.

Of course it is fake, for all the reasons you gave.
Mama panda's nose and lips are white. And she has white rice instead of fur.
You can tell it is fake without even looking at the coin - by the cheap looking seal of the package.

This guy has quite a few Pandas on Ebay under different user names. All look fake to me!!!

How do you get these off Ebay?
