thanks Lim, appreciate it ,I didnt think Panda America was"pre grading" coins,as if it where the case why send slit OMP ,they would have just sent the coins in capsules and no one would have been the wiser............... I sure wish the mint sealed them completely.....................

Thanks Thor. Unfortunately, the price I am asking admittedly is not priced to sell. Lol!.

    There is a 5oz BIN for USD$775

Mind you, people can ask whatever they like, who knows if it will sell. Although if the above sold for USD$1125....

How anyone can tell that, just by looking at those ebay pics, is beyond me! My bionic vision is unable to be engaged at this time.

I can - and if you cannot, you can always ask for more pics. So far there has been only two sells from the cracked die variety.

Thor, I checked it appears that all my 1 oz medals came from Die #1 or variety #1 ,does anyone know if it makes a difference as far as rarity or value??

I doubt 1oz will have any value difference - too less information so far to conclude. Only thing that is certain is the broken die version of 5oz has least mintage (225) out of 3 versions of 5oz. Looks like for both 5oz and 1oz the mint used at least three different dies with varying frosting pattern.

Auction sellers are already losing money in 1oz versions, see Ebay auction 120901396190

yes ,that does not mean anything shibaji , you will always get weak sellers who need cash, what I have seen is Panda America is not selling coins on thier website,so apparantly they sold out?? I doubt that?? Or die and manufacturing problems and milk spots on some coins (which are probably being returned) has caused a supply problem ,if demand is weak they might just halt manufacturing the medal ,then you could have a pretty rare coin, this is pure speculation of course, I will tell you the 5 1oz that i recieved are beautiful and I am very tempted to send them to ngc as I truly believe i have a pf70 or 2 in the 5

Possible. I do not know. I was just merely stating an observation. Do you think the medals are still being manufactured with 10K and 2.5K numbers ? Thanks.
