Hey guys, Yes I'm new to the forum. Wondering if anyone is holding Alcyone - seems the other silver stocks have reps. AYN seems to be the 'black sheep' of the silver family although had a good run last couple of days. I'm noticing these silver stock raises are getting good supports and looks like they will hold for now.
To many capital raisings (at non optimal return) and not enough grunt shown from management for this one to stay on my radar when the others have more going for them.
Ayn is a buy..joshrichy..it has broken out and will continue to climb....heavy volume is a good sign..good luck
JORC has been due anyday for months AYN have a PUT opion on 770,000oz of silver (strike price $27) Is this good managment or represemtative of fear in managment re silver price? I dont really understand what that PUT means, can anyone interpret for me?
Yes, this is a good idea. About 6 months of expected production, a nice guarantee for start up, one less thing to worry about. All subsequent product will be sold on the market as I understand. If they hedge the lot, I'm out. I am in this because I expect the price of silver to boom, and want to get the multiple gains possible with this scenario. I'd hate to watch my share price sit stagnant while silver goes to $75, because the company sold all production for two years at $35-40. if I want safe, I'll stitck with BHP shares.
Thanx, I reduced my possition. If it pulls back to 0.047 ill buy more. I like AYN because of silver, and hopefully they will be the first australian pure silver miner to reach production in Australia for this bull market. Because of that I'm expecting increasing interest over the next 6-12 months.

Lol, they just got asked the question why the price and volumes have jumped so fast. The answer was that silver just hit a 30 year high.
