I hopped on, and tripled my money and am now free carry. What's your strategy for trading in small speculators?
I got in at 5.7c and sold half at 12.5c thanks to this forum. I might hold the rest for >12 months, see how they go.
No strategy, I'm bad at this type of speculation so I don't trade in small stuff like biotech or mining startups haha I love watching the news pop up, the prices change and the graphs go crazy though
Just read the report... he also mentioned the other 3 pure silver plays & a handful of other companies with silver exposure. Will be tempting to sell into it tomoz & look to buy back next week on further silver weakness ...
Don't know whether it's pump/dump but it's certainly true that I won't be re-subscribing. Mostly mediocre at best with a couple of good performers and many bad ones. Fortunately, I've gone mostly with silver companies rather than anything he suggested. But yeah, D&D total waste of money. I believe there were mentions in Money Morning how he was buying lots of physical silver recently (at the high prices). One to avoid. Add him to a list which is quite long now.
Close to first production of physical silver about now, according to own reports. Will see if it affects SP - at the same time, POS seems to be on the march again.
First pour announced by company today.... full production to start next quarter... http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20110616/pdf/41z7v2n767vdvl.pdf
I dont liike this company - may be just because of emotions when I bought in at 5c - but now that I have had experience with good managment - I dont think this company is a long term hold for me. I would trade it though, anything below 8c would be a potential buy for me.
Hey guys, So.. would now be a good time to look into some shares of AYN? Or has it got alot more room to fall? I know financial advice is not to be given, I am just wondering if anyone has been looking into this company..?
No need to look further than this announcement if foolishly considering this piece o' junk. Saves research Appendix 3Y Change of Director's Interest Notice 7 March 2013 18:41 Name of Director CHARLES WAITE MORGAN Nature of change On market sale Number disposed (1) 5,208,333 (2) 2,604,166 Value/Consideration (1) $139,427 (2) $21,563
This company should have been illegal from the start. Directors, managers, seed 'capitalists' and traders make money - investors pay the bill. Same as Macmin. Yet crappy contrivances like this company are the ones that get the airplay on forums. Giant pokie machines with everything looking bright and cheerfully noisy on the surface. Ringadingding.. feature playing. They're scams. . Gee who would have thought mechanical break-downs, cyclones, low grades, and an unpredictable commodity price could happen? You can't expect a management to foresee stuff like that. And you see a director dumping 8 million shares on market a few days before a trading halt for last gasp debt raising - just lucky. Eliminate them entirely and buy companies that are making a consistent growing profit [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/1893_ayn_mar_15.gif][/imgz]
Been watching AYN (and CCU, SVL) for quite a while now. Felt that I'd missed the boat when they were firing so I held off. Now that they've all dropped considerably I'm keen to get in. I know that some would have a sour taste in their mouth because of recent losses but surely at current levels they are still a good way to leverage into a silver price spike if you were to get in now? I haven't played in this area before but thinking of having a bit of a gamble with a small % of the portfolio. So I ask the experts, if you didn't currently hold AYN,CCU or SVL would you consider any of them at the current price? Thks C
