The $10/map arrived today, reunited with its family. They were in the same type of holder when I bought them.

FYI those are two different coins. The upper one, someone tried to clean it, and it only looks like that at the right angle. The lower one is UNC and looks good at any angle. Lynx:

Some more dirty ones The maple was from a recently broken roll...the pick of the litter. And the JM 1 ozers are nicely bronzed with a hint of magenta/purple on the rim.Photos could be better but ,you get the idea
Thanks for the medal...nice colours..great definition on the heraldry.. Show is beaut, but can we have the tell too?
Well, here is the other side. Don't drink and look! The perspective is off. Herzogenaurach, in Bavaria, home of Adidas and Puma. "MEDAILLEN KUNST 1000" on edge. Anything more and I would just be copying from Wikipedia and whatnot. I have no idea what the 1700 means Surely not this: "Adidas' new research and design center in Herzogenaurach, Germany, is the place where 1,700 workers develop new products for the world leader in sports equipment and apparel"
Ha ...the perspective is STYLISTICALLY embellished...I like it. This is how map makers once described the world
What 1700? I only see 1500 it's showing what Herzogenaurach was like back in the 1500's. 'Um' means 'about'.
