What did you buy today , of the non PM range

Taught two of our girls to drive now and I insisted that they learn in a manual. Much easier to go from a manual to an auto than the other way round.

Although, good thing about using an auto for the first couple of months is that it allows them the opportunity to concentrate on the road, rather than having to worry about gear changes etc.

Depends whether this opportunity is used to concentrate on the road or spent taking selfies. I prefer manual as it keeps you focused on the task at hand. I see it like training wheels in a bike. Fine to learn with, but lazy to live with.

how much you want ? considering I cant sell my collection on fleebay  I might aswell add to the collection

I did something really silly this arvo. While helping someone pick up some furniture that had been restored I spotted a pair of beautiful cupboards. I didn't need them. Can't afford them. Got nowhere to put 'em. But before I knew it I'd bought them.
Bloody things are solid sandalwood & mahoganny, were commissioned in the late 1800's & need a fair bit of work.

Where's that face palm emoticon?

Have you got a spot picked out in the garage or shed where they can sit and gather dust for years?

Yeah, It would be a shame to lock them away in a shed. They ARE very pretty. I think I'll take the advice. I'm getting them restored... or I should say "re$tored". :)
It'll probably end up being a better investment than PM's

Two of my favourites at Duty Free- Talisker 25 and Bollinger RD. Saved $350+ on rip off Aus prices :)

Skywatcher EQ3 BK P15075 150mm aperture 750mm focal length telescope. Able to see deep space objects such as nebula, galaxies etc.

Stoked with the purchase, but it's cloudy in Perth tonight :(

Hope to take some photos during my trip up to the Pilbara :D

Nice telescope. I litterally just got into them! I found a used Bushnell Northstar reflector telescope at the thrift store for $20. The eyepiece are worth that alone. I used it a bit and then bought some more lenses and the beginnner Celestron reflector telescope for comparison. I would like to get a nicer one at some point but we have way to much light polution and I dont want to take a nice scope camping.

I'm flying up and still trying to figure out how to get the scope secured for the flight. It was bigger than anticipated from the photo on Gumtree!
I'll be camping for about a week between Exmouth and Karratha with a few days business either end. Looking at Bunnings cargo cases, but not sure of the internal dimensions.
