Im curious about how you bought it . Did you have to have a doctors certificate , be registered as having an ailment or did you just walk in & tell them you had a headache & buy it :p:

you get a Dr. note then take it to the club/dispensary, dr recommendation lasts 1 year and its $30

tell the dr you got a backache, headache, cant sleep, got hemorrhoids, doesnt matter what your ailment

Found this vintage Cologne called Platino at the thrift shop today nearly full. It has platinum flakes floating in it. A quirt of this and a shot of goldschlauger and I'll be feeling like the kind of the world.

Has SS policy on guns changed??? GP didn't want us to post about guns...Firesticks but not guns. :)

That's a stunner, I'm a sucker for nice boxes. I always wanted an antique wooden traveling security chest with lots of hidden compartments. I saw one on American antiques road show once that had lockable compartments on each corner with screws so that when you were staying at an inn for the night you could screw the chest into the wooden floor to fasten it to the ground then lock the compartments so it couldn't be unscrewed. I don't know what you were supposed tell the inn keeper about the 4 freshly drilled holes in his floor boards though.

I saw another small musical box inlaid with baltic amber that had a hidden spring loaded wooden slat that had 4 little holes that fit a few sovereigns each.

Now I want to go and buy a box...

Got myself a new phone. Motorola Droid Turbo with a rather sexy ballistic nylon back.

A new phone. Sony Xperia Z 2. I have had iPhones for the past 4 years and have moved back to android after the complete farce of the iOS8 and yosemite upgrades. Its going to be a steep learning curve, but apple have really dropped the ball lately. Time will tell how it goes. :)

So I collect antique Japanese swords and related items. Last year I was bidding on what is called a tsuba, the hand guard on the sword. They are often decorated with symbolic cut out shapes, inlays of various soft metals etc. The one I was bidding on, some well meaning meaning person many years ago spray painted it gold so there was some gentle cleaning and reconditioning that needed to be done. Anyway I think I bid $100 but was outbid in the last few minutes. Drat! Well I guess the guy who bought it cleaned it up and then offered it back on ebay nearly a year later for $150. No bites so he tried $100. I contacted him and offered a low ball $75. He took the offer! So I got it for $25 less than I was going to pay a year ago and it has already been partially restored for me! I'd say "Win!!!" Anyway back to work stacking silver and gold lol
