I don't expect it at at all.

The big toe of the iron St Peter statue in the St Peter's appears to be amputated. This is caused by the faithful kissing it over the centuries.

It doesnt appear amputated its merely worn smooth and more so by people rubbing it with their hands than their lips.

Sorry, 'wrong way round' is colloquial.

In Britain it is illegal to place a stamp on an envelope with The Queen's head inverted.

BTW, the issue of franking is interesting, since stamping ink on the monarch's face would appear, to me, to be faintly disrespectful.
