Just heard on ABC 1 t.v add that Tony Abott will be appearing on 'Insiders' tomorrow morning for fathers day..... Cant wait for this!

Hey bud, I've noticed in the 43 threads you've started this week that it sounds like you've fallen into the same mental trap as most people. Just because Labor is useless it doesn't mean Liberals will fix anything. They might help out big business a bit more a be a bit more fiscally responsible, however neither party gives two shits about the country. They're just as bad as bankers, economy goes down the tank and the only thing they can agree on is to double their pay. At least the banks have been looking after their shareholders, we as shareholders of the country get fucked no matter which party. Try to remember that and not get your hopes up too high.

No worries Col thanks for the heads up! Mate I been studying and talking to as many people as I can about this election and most seem to say the LIbs are better for business people.....I just hope if they get in the econopmy will improve and people and businesses will start spending money and employing more people etc etc instead of running on skeleton crews like in GFC 1.....As far as I can tell at least in Vic is things are REALLY quiet at the moment. Lets hope a change will bring change!

No no no, libs are all for big business and corn-holing the populace,

Oh and I hope he doesn't appear in his budgie smugglers

Well what about the 10Billion Ruddy just got caught out with two days ago.....More money lost.......and he looked bloody embarrassed about it too as he should be!

Abbott is going to get rid of the carbon tax man.....That's gotta be a good thing for all of us considering climate change is a lie after all these years of trying to trick everyone..

Don't worry about his budgy smugglers mate worry about what he's going to do for the country..

Abott and Rudd both have problems and both major parties have flaws in their policy, but I prefer Libs as they are marginally better than Labor. Marginally better is preferable to sure waste, sure lies and sure failures.

Amen to that. People talk about their chosen small party like they are messiahs. Reality and a hand in government would probably make all the other choices look like the devil we already know. And the two devils we know are predictable which is why they've been around so long.

Ye and look at The Greens they're in bed with Labor doing backdoor deals with all the carbon taxes and crap..... I mean I love trees and the bush and the environment but climate change is a bloody big lie!

In Melbourne we have MAJOR traffic problems in North Eastern side of city which needs to linked with one other main arterial..... Apparently The Greens have said NO WAY....So now the traffic remains woeful on most days and everyone has to drive through many many traffic lights to get from A to B. I thought we paid taxes to have these things fixed?

Traffic? That's what city slickers do to pass their time on their way to and from work isn't it? We call that dodging emus.

Having spent quite a bit of time in Asia it is plain as the nose on my face that without a follow-on to the mining boom, we are slowly backing ourselves into a corner which very few are willing to accept. Let me give an example.........if you and several friends had a lazy 100 million to invest and you wanted to maximise your investment returns where would you decide to manufacture? Here in Singapore, company tax is close to 20% as too is the top personal tax rate which doesn't actually kick in until 320,000 dollars. You have a highly skilled, very disciplined workforce on a 45 hour week with single rate overtime and infrastructure close to the best in the world. No strikes, no hiring/ firing impediments, 10 to 20 days annual leave for staff and countless other benefits for the investor. It is the safest city you will ever visit......travel on night trains is super safe and you can walk the streets and eat out at 2.30 in the morning and you will not be bothered by drunks......on top of this you have access to cheap Asian labour on abou $25 per day....these are temp workers from china and Bangladesh......there are no slums.....the best high rise living in the world......soon to be the richest country in the world.....so why would you invest in Australia?

This is our competition and many other countries are following suit.......as it stands, our socialism is going to cost us dearly as we are dumb and blind to the realities of the world. As our income drops we will have to face the reality of our own arrogant expectations. There will be cuts and more cuts and even more cuts. There will be endless strikes which only further compounds the issues of attracting investment and slowly we will mirror the worst European countries.

Labour know how to spend but don't understand a bloody thing about economics. They still quote Keynes even though Japan has shown without any doubt that spending your way out of trouble is pure fantasy.
Liberal will simply bring us back to reality at a much quicker pace.

If you make a significant amount of money from your wise investments infectious metals, it will be just as wise to invest in An Asian property to perhaps retire into as a way of avoiding the hands of the socialists who know only too well how to spend the money of others.

Thanks Tolly.....Another very wise reply from you.....Love the fact that your supporting liberals too!

Well that was excellent ......Tony was clean, straight and decisive about what he wants to do......Cuts applied in areas where required, Better stronger economy for everyone, better roads, cheaper carbon emissions plan instead of a massive tax on everyone, and a smarter deal to try and stop the boats.

This may seem at first to be benign, but if you think about it carefully it is definitive.

Abortion became legal in Victoria with no restrictions on gestation (that is for any reason up until birth abortion is legal).

Now in Australian Law, an unborn baby had all the same rights as born humans.
To write into law the Abortion legislation, they had to take a person who was clasified as a human being, an Australian citizen, and strip away those rights and that citizenship.

Now this FACT that in order for abortion to be passed, a previously classified 'person', was demoted to non-person. Every single scientific test you can think of would return evidence that an unborn baby is human, even down to the baby grimacing and turning away from a needle representing basic reason and choice.

This causes a massive break and milestone in Australian legal history. The fact that the Libs are not interested at this stage in reversing the declasification of the Unborn from human to non-human, means that any and every law we have or change in the future, is purely on the basis of 'positive law' the foundation of scicialism, communism, marxism etc etc.

The Libs not wanting to change this means they are no longer concerned with fighting communism, but have become socialist themselves. Therefore vote for whomeever you want, either slow march or fast march to marxism... take your pick (because we are all commodities now, political currency by which a party can buy power). And all safetly or security provided by 'law' is merely illusion. Banking laws, criminal laws, business law every law is illusion under a 'positive law' system.

^^ This.

Oh, and think about this.

Central banks lend to contries the money they need. Let me ask you something doesnt this undermine the natural budget that a government cannot spend more than their GDP without going into debt of another contry (who will demand payment).

This fact use to provide an unwavering motivation of government to build the contry and grow its wealth. More wealth, more taxes to spend. Now with international credit lent by independant banks - what motivation has a governemnt to build up the contry?

Also how easy is it for gobalism to threaten soverign nations with isolation and if needs be invasion.
Unbacked Credit has never been a moral application of 'money'.

This is tricky. The difficulty is how to maintain the rights of the trespasser whilst recognising that the trespasser's rights are clearly secondary to the mother's rights. A register and trading room allowing the adoption of unwanted foetuses by people willing to fund the associated costs is needed, but we also need to a very strict mechanism to prevent that being twisted into the State automatically becoming the paid guardian for any untraded foetuses - which is extremely likely in the current environment - as this will create far, far more issues than annulling the rights of an entity which technically only has the potential to acquire the rights of a child and eventually to have the potential to acquire full adult rights.
