Today I Bought...

This is what arrived today for me .
It is a good lesson of making sure you take good pictures when you sell things online.
It even has a signed presentation card from the Bavarian Minister of Trade and Economic Affairs from 1981.
I was the only bidder due to the photos i believe.
Ended up with 140 grams of sterling for $60NZD
The first photo is from the auction and the next 2 are mine.

Bought these gold beauties. PM makes really good coins. Strange that mintage is more low for 1/4 oz gold Lunar 2 series than for a 1 oz...
Maybe I just do not understand something...

Mintage policy and how it works.

http://www.perthmint.com.au/mintage_policy.aspx

Remembering that the series 2 Lunar coins, except the 1oz has this mintage policy.

"No mintage limit applies to the 1/4oz gold coin however, production will close at the end of the year when The Perth Mint will declare each coin's official mintage."

Once the coins have been "declared" kutylin no more will be struck, ever!

Don't forget that the 1/4 oz gold Rooster has not been "declared", the figure in the Perth pdf documents indicates "Sales to Date".

Happy to add some of these 2016 Chiwoo Cheonwang medals to the stack today. Note the cool angle based security dot. Reminds me of the sunshine mint "valid" dot but doesn't require a decoder card, just view at a left or right angle as I hope I've captured in the photos sufficiently. These sold out fast in Jan-Feb, and so far the 2017 presales here and in Europe have been selling out as well. Now I wonder what price point MCM and APMEX will start the 2017s at, once they list them.

Hey stackers,
Managed to pick up a few of these old Perth Mint 10 Oz bars. Couple of them have consecutive serials numbers.
One has some fantastic swirls. From what I have been told these type A irregular size bars.

Was a bit of a mispurchase to be honest, seem to be shelf warmers.:oops:
But ok, you cant win everytime and the damage for that set is not a fortune.

A bunch of stuff from a bunch of awesome stackers, but I've been too busy to enjoy any of it or express my gratitude, especially to Tas Stacker. Sorry guys, trade feedback and PMs are still coming!!
