I am a huge admirer of the Elemetal Mint American landmark series....it must be the patriot in me. I also really like the Cleopatra round as well.

Even I, living in Russia, admire craftmanship of that rounds for such a reasonable price! And I really respect those who made all National parks (I mean real ones!) in USA. They were very smart people!
As we say in Russia " - " ))) which means "First pancake is always not good".))))
And yes, that Japanise man (woman) saved several of my very first videos. Without him they would be gone forever ((((

I went to an auction for the first time yesterday, it was a whole house full of luxury high end chinese antiques, heap is art, English and French furniture heaps of cool silver stuff, I got this cigarette case and Vesta.
My photos don't do it justice. There was a solid sterling silver Porsche 911.. But I missed out on that one.. There was even a taxidermy zebra head.

This was the first auction I'd ever being to and I found it by accident driving down the road and saw a sign saying auction antiques, silver, art... And thought.. I have to go. Experienced people there were quite impressed with what was on offer.
I guess googling your local auction houses would point you in the right direction.
I'm going to start looking for more, it was quite fun.
