Dear Happy2bme,

Dont put all your eggs in one basket - might regret it once Easter is gone :)

Hey ladyluck,

I really appreciate your advise... The eggs are for few of us... If it was meant to be in one basket, I would not be able to carry it myself. :)

Anyone dealt with topworldcoins before? If you have, please share about your experience or deling with them.

Would really appreciate it.

Many thanks in advance! :)

I ordered from them and had no problem at all. I'm in the US, and it was pretty quick to get here.

Just crazy selling tactics. Put a BIN price that is super high, but allow you to make an offer, so when you make an offer at $600, you think you got a steal and the seller still makes tons of money. But if they start selling for that high, then it is good for all those who have these coins. I just hope that the price doesn't plummet after the novelty wears off. There is no doubt that these coins are modern works of art with a super low mintage that makes them rare, but if the demand does not stay high, then the price will drop. The key is that the demand will stay high. That is what has happened with the Wolverine. Most collectors missed it when it first came out and bought the Owl and maybe the HedgeHog and now need the Wolverine to complete their set. Collectors are now willing to pay huge prices to complete these sets. As long as this is the case, the prices will continue to stay high or even rise. I love these modern rarities.

Based on some info I've gotten recently, China has now starting to look at numis coins. Large orders from that part of the world is what has been pushing the price upwards. The Giant has just awoken and so the journey is still a long, long way... :)

Thank you. At least I feel a bit more comfortable with them now. :)

Happy, did you steal my wolverine!?!?!? :o:o:o:o:o

Jace,

I did not steal... I repeat, I did not steal your wolverine. I am a hijacker, not a thief. :)

So you kidnapped the posty ,grabbed the parcel & let him go than :D

I wished that was the case... I wouldn't burn any hole in my pocket if it was such. :D

Gulo gulo ends at $1800.00 free shipping with no bidders. Are prices at full retreat?

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/120889247099?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Noted from the photo that the coin is not handled with care, removed from capsule and place it on the table without soft cloth, so $1800 is price too high. BU gulo gulo left with 2499 pieces now.

Seller also stated the coin to have scratch on gulo2 and slightly dented. I wouldn't pay even usd 1000 for it. Would you?

Once a coin like that is marked in such a way it's only worth it's weight :(
Might aswell just turn it into a pendant now :D

Who the hell would take a gorgeous piece like that out of the capsule to begin with, Then put it on a dented ugly piece of wood???? I doubt that he/ she didn't even use cotton gloves when handling the piece. Of course before him/ her, You don't know how the piece was handled, But what you don't know don't bother you.
From the pics I really didn't see any scratches, But if you take a strong enough magnifier, You will see something on just about every coin ..
If he or she used proper care in showing the coin off, I'm sure it would have been a good possibility of a sale...

It is interesting how may *bay listing would benefit from a proper presentation. In fact one of my business ideas that came in a dream was exactly this - beatifying *bay listings :)
