it needs to be said this topic is very much dependent on personal circumstance.. if (secured) space is an issue as it is for me then my post is relevant..
I agreed with an above point that when you start out usually you have not yet formulated a plan so tend to buy a mixture..i think this is a healthy stage of trail and error before settling on preferred silver.. once you finally settle on a favoured size or shape it usually means selling the silver that is no longer fits into this position.
I think Sammy Silver did it best focusing on one type of silver and not getting stuck in the quagmire that is semi numismatic bullion .. its a whole lot of time and energy chasing gains but ultimately putting in much more time and energy and increasing the difficulty of selling it at the other end and minimising downside potential.
