So there might be some silver getting around under spot, I will keep my eye out for sure :P

Bit more serious, That really does suck, I hope you get a good result.

Holy shit. Claude - Ben, from the Sunday markets... I am guessing this is you.

I feel sick. Was that your stuff man?

Hi Claude. I am absolutely gobsmacked about this....hope you get a speedy result in finding the culprits.
Of course ,I will keep my peepers pealed for any suspicious offerings.

Really sorry to hear that another member has fallen victim to some thieving bastards.

Heres hoping that you and your silver are soon reunited and those thieving so and so's are caught and charged.

would be interested to know where the stuff was taken from, i.e. your home or a business, just so we know what to look out for?

Goods were taken from home at New Farm
Crooks knew exactlly where to go and what to take
This was a pre-meditated crime not a fly by hit & run

a lot of coins (ex rounds ) were in the 2x2 boxes ( at the time of taking)

cheers

sorry for you, mate

I'm sure I'm not the only one curious to know how that was premeditated... Did you show your stash to many people? Did you do transaction from your residence? How would they know?

For those who know me
i am an ANDA member

sell on ebay, flea market, coin shows

very rarely have people at home

someone has betrayed me !!

Mate that is indeed low.

I'll keep my eye's on the street - if there's anything comes up or gets offered - I'll be sure to let you know.

Can be doing without thieves in this game... first someone down in Melbourne now this.

The advantages of storing your stack away from home continue to be proven...

Again, really sorry to hear about that, if there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to get in touch,

Cheers,

RD

Sorry for your loss, iclav.

This is an interesting story and is a valuable lesson for other stackers so thank you for sharing. The more details the better.

I am wondering if you were indeed betrayed or it is simply a case of loose lips. You may have only told a limited number of friends but the people your friends tell is beyond your control. They may have mentioned it innocently to someone in passing who wasn't of such good character.

I hope you get your property back.
