lol, a day to remember. the day when perth mint gave the australians the finger and ships most of their product overseas and denies local buyer by putting up a system that can't handle load.

Perth mint should apply for australian business of the year, from scale of 1 - 10, I am sure we all can give em -20.
 
The website is running quite smoothly, so the problem is not the load.
Maybe the bottleneck is their credit card processing, because for every order they do a credit card authorization.
Switching it off might solve the problem. If someone doesn't pay, I'm sure they will have lots of takers for the unpaid coins...
 
only got 5 but went straight through. paid BPay. When I went back in to check something buying was closed. probably lot of hype for nothing. At least i got a few and maybe when things settle down I will pick up some more. The thing that kills is the postage.
Usually find things from elsewhere cheaper than the mint anyway and the mint charges lots for postage
 
it took 47 minutes but the order just went through. keep reloading it will go. My mate was on hold to them for 40 minutes and got through too.
 
I tinhk they are sold out now. This time I got a different error message:

I got errors at delivery, payment, and confirmation step.
i think keep going

keep pushing on with the site, after 20 kicks we finally got 20. Dont give up people.
