Well, the bandwagon seems to have arrived now pretty much on queue.
I just think it's pretty disappointing that when it's all said and done, the collective still rallies to the guy with the most toys as clearly the trump card in any ideological or intellectual debate.
'So these are the facts and figures, a dozen independant studies and ...'
'Yeah? Well who gives a toss? I've got 28 investment properties... so I win clearly'
Crowd : cheers
/facepalm
Why even bother posting up threads like this for 'discussion' where ideas have no bearing in deciding the ultimate outcome? Where it will always deride and be devalued to a point of 'well, he has the biggest portfolio dick, so he wins'
Valued point to anyone else reading this thread and didn't reply - unless you have the big portfolio, your opinion is worthless here.
I don't think there's anything more that can practically be said otherwise, although I seem to be an easy target (as usual)
Fine, whatever people. If you only assume the arbiter of debate is based on who has the most toys, then go worship the Bernank and Buffets of the world and treat their word as gospel and be done with it.
