Pensioners or centerlink recipients

Ladies and Gentleman..Tonight we have a 15 round contest..The man from the Central Coast called the Renovator and from Sydney Auspm.

No spitting, no farting and no hitting below the belt.

May the bout be a draw as you are both worthy contenders.

Regards Errol 43

I agree with Reno,

Debate ? Debate what Auspm ? You can continue to ride on your pity plot or actually make change to your attitude in life.
I recall seeing you post some amazing hotel you spent time with your wife for your anniversary, and good for you, however,

Some " lucky" baby boomers NEVER spent a weekend in such luxury Auspm, they were too busy struggling to pay off their little toilet out back, no theatre lounge home, had newspaper for curtains, worked 7 days per week and ate black rice every night.

Stop being so venomous toward older people, sorry, but you are so full of anger and hatred !

You are such a cry baby , It is tiring to hear your excuses, as Reno wrote, People all over the world want to come to Australia , because THEY SEE POTENTIAL and OPPORTUNITY, I mean you no malice Auspm, you can
keep playing your blame game if you wish,

or you can add this to your philosophy

"To ignore the power of paradigms to influence your judgement
is to put yourself at significant risk when exploring the future.
To be able to shape your future
you have to be ready and able to change your paradigm."

I wish you all your dreams come true !

You know what I would say Reno. Some of us care about the world beyond making a buck. Sure making money is important, but it's also important to leave society better than you found it. ideas are important, now more so than ever. Bad ideas must be purged for the good of us all, because frankly the history of the world shows that bad ideas, widely accepted, can have serious consequences.

If you don't care about that and just want to tell everyone how rich you are that's fine.

Your opening statement was simply Appeal To Tradition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_tradition). A well known logical fallacy.

I have to agree with Aus that frankly your debating style is non-existent and you're in way over your head.

Well, ignoring all the debates going on, I would say, it is highly probable that crime rates would definitely increase if the dole is cut.

Since, the police don't really do much at all, other than try and raise revenue for their respective state governments. I can't speak for QLD police, but for NSW and VICpol, that definitely seems to be the case.

But by all means, cut off the dole for the unemployed after a fixed period of time, and also employ more police men/women to patrol known areas.

I might be missing the point here, but me no spik engrish veli well.

overheard a conversation the over day as I was leaving the shops.

Guy 1 "I heard they was gonna start drug testing ya for the dole, man I'll never get the dole again"
Lots of laughter.
Guy 2 " Nah dude all youse do is take like 10 of those urals, and you pass it".

its the only chance you have to get some of your tax back.
Tax is paid in order to fund required infrastructure and services (e.g. those that you currently use everyday). It shouldn't be expected that you get your tax back during retirement years from the current working generation, such expectation would be ponzi like in nature.

I thought my rates paid for infrastructure and services thats what the council tells me ,got a few houses maybe I'am paying for your roads and services . and then you've got fuel tax ,gst, stamp duty ,cgt .

maybe all you renters are getting a free ride off us house owners

I just had an image of Renovator relaxing on a banana lounge in the beautiful new tropical villa that he just built reading an Ayn Rand novel and drinking a Daquiri with big smile on his face and not really giving a toss what anyone on a web forum thinks.

I hope they fluff each other into exhaustion with their handbags. Sanctimonious types who are more alike than different in their respective "holier than thou" posts. A bit of fun to watch though at times a little repetitive without the spitting, farting and below the belt hitting. Keep it up lads.

Well, the bandwagon seems to have arrived now pretty much on queue.

I just think it's pretty disappointing that when it's all said and done, the collective still rallies to the guy with the most toys as clearly the trump card in any ideological or intellectual debate.

'So these are the facts and figures, a dozen independant studies and ...'

'Yeah? Well who gives a toss? I've got 28 investment properties... so I win clearly'

Crowd : cheers

/facepalm

Why even bother posting up threads like this for 'discussion' where ideas have no bearing in deciding the ultimate outcome? Where it will always deride and be devalued to a point of 'well, he has the biggest portfolio dick, so he wins'

O.o

Valued point to anyone else reading this thread and didn't reply - unless you have the big portfolio, your opinion is worthless here.

I don't think there's anything more that can practically be said otherwise, although I seem to be an easy target (as usual)

Fine, whatever people. If you only assume the arbiter of debate is based on who has the most toys, then go worship the Bernank and Buffets of the world and treat their word as gospel and be done with it.

Can you people (you know who you are ) make your fkn mind up ,on one hand you want people to spend all there savings, reverse morgage there house and not leave there kids anything and not get a pension . on the other hand you winge when they spend there own money on having a bit of fun before they die because might miss out on a handout .f$cking hypocrites

Its got SFA to do with portfolio size wealth , toys or anything else you care to throw in It has got to do with what works /reality or pipe dreams /pie in the sky ideology.

Everyones opinion is worth reading which i do & comment on things i believe are rubbish . Do you see me rubbishing everyones posts ? no just the ones what i think are leading others down the wrong path or planting seeds to grow weeds instead of growing fruit ......... just pay your share of taxes like everybody else & make more money to override the money "stolen " from you . I would love to have this conversation in 20 or 30 years with you because im sure you will be needing the pension because of your lack of retirement planning because of your fear of debt & wasted energy about things you cannot change & have no control over .

Edited because i spell like i debate ......woefully

So tell us all what you have done to make society better than you found it ?. Post on an internet forum your thoughts /dreams on how the world should be ?

Oh fk me that should benefit the world & make it a better place saying that the world is screwed & in a mess ........Umm i think 90 % of the population already know that ..

Or share some real experiences of success or failure for others to learn from not just post retorts that have no value . Thats the difference between you & aus & myself & NR we give real life experiences not pie in the sky thoughts . If you think that experience is not an issue get an operation by a 1st year medical student  with age comes wisdom (not always ) sometimes senility comes b4 wisdom but for most the more things you encounter & the mistakes you make makes you a wiser person .

The collection has come over time. I have to repost it every month or two as certain memories are short.

It comes with the territory, some geriatrics cooked in aluminum pots during the 1960s and 70s. If the asbestos and DDT didn't get them, the aluminum sure does.
