New Perth Mint Stock Horse Coin

Yeah, it's called love for coins. :P

My plan is to sell only small of amount of my numis coins or ever better none. Of those I like of course.:)

There is obviously something wrong with shipping calculator.

But I'm sure I can beat you any time when it comes to shipping costs.

UPS quote from eBay seller for 1 coin. I repeat 1 (1 as one) coin!!! 1 oz! Not 1 kilo!
$172.ooUSD OUCH..........

Yup, that it's shipping to "3rd world countries...." :)

profit is all that matters.
I know it sounds crazy, but some people buy collectors coin to actually collect and appreciate the coin itself, not for profit :o

Aye, some, but who and where are they? :P

You're all acting like you love the coin but I'm not fooled

Well I am one of those 28 watchers and have no intention to bid

Good luck to all but if everybody here bought multiples to flip, who exactly are you going to be flipping to ?

1. People in Aus who didn't buy them from the Perth Mint because they don't wish to deal with the Perth Mint.
2. People in Aus who didn't buy them from the Perth Mint because they were too slow/didn't see them for sale which was only for 1 day.
3. People overseas who tried to buy them from the Perth Mint but were not allowed to buy....Aussie sales only for the cards.
4. People overseas who have bought the SH but want both carded and uncarded types and are willing to pay a premium to get them.
5. People overseas who haven't bought the uncarded because they only want to get the rarer variety and are willing to pay a premium to get them.
6. Modern Numismatists (hope that's the right term) collecting the first coin of a new series.
7. People who like Horseys.
8. Other flippers.
9. People like volrathy who wanted to buy one but didn't have the necessary funds at the time.

These same buyers will be around next week as well as this time next year, except for maybe volrathy, who might get to pick one up sooner rather than later.

Oh don't get me wrong I know there's a market for them, I have 40 carded horses on the way.

I just have no appreciation for the coin design, gonna flip and buy me a new TV :p

ebay listing for wsd coins: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2013-Aus...2846804?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item232ca4b3d4

Not buying due to the ridiculous postage. $67.07 for 1 coin. but only $410 if you buy 10. :/

Ouch...must be something strong with the shipping calculator...

It costs me $47 to ship the cheapest traceable package from Canada to anywhere in Europe/Asia/Australia. I charge $40 on my website so lose about $7 per shipment.

The maximum it costs is $100 via xpresspost, so the 10 coins thing is definitely out of whack.

I offered to ship for as little as $10-15 on this forum for payments not made by PayPal as I can ship by a method without tracking. But it is a requirement of PayPal that the item must have tracking.

Shipping shows only $12-13 for Canada which is accurate and is what it actually costs.

why you guys have such an expensive international shipping?
I've always thought Japan had the most expensive one until I've read Canadian shipping charges ... do you make Queen deliver parcels?))

Haha check out Canadapost.ca

It's cheaper to ship from the US to Canada than it is from Canada to Canada

Nice pic Chris! Got my coins today, looks really good. Far better than the first pics.

Thanks :) It's a symbolic pyramid, to suggest that the value of the stock horse will rise greatly. hehe :D

Hello,

What is the price for this coin by Portugal more shipping, please.
XXI

You can ask WSD collector, but I think postage from Canada to Portugal will be expensive for just 1 coin.

muenzdachs.de in Germany still has some left as well.
