You think that in the whole world there will not be 10,000 collectors willing to pay to dollar for these coins? Lol. Even if the majority of people dislike these coins, there will always be people wanting them. But you should stop worrying if the value of these coins will go up or if it will crash, you don't have any.

i am deeply sorry to disappoint you but this Kind of advertising may work on 18 years old young Collector but not on me :)

i am very glad NOT TO HAVE those Horse coins but despite this a see no reason not to write about it ?

you may look for HR Dragon 2012 PM coin with mintage of only 7500 Pieces and you will find Tons of them for prices UNDER initial cost, why do you think this Horse coin is going to sell better ?

Is this your first coin for sale ?

Those coins are going for upwards of 90 GBP on ebay. You are saying that when they were released they were being sold for an even higher price? There is a big difference between 90+ for a 1oz coin and around 34 for a 1oz coin.

Eurokrem, no worries about that. They sell very well. Mintage only 10.000, there wont be any left. I seen german dealers who had them that sold, and sell them very quick. I just looked at gold.de and see there is only 2 dealers left selling them and they raised premium +20% now. Look at boards in US and you will see many people are buying and want to buy this coin.

Just the fact that its a horse gives them a premium i think, and a series, with horses. And i dont think there will be any problem getting that premium back, in worst case. But of course, Lunar horse is The Horse this year.

coa with coin number

ok thanks, but theres no corresponding identifier on the coin that matches the certificate?

I think you're referring to the carded ones. Since the coins are physically stuck to the COA.

So technically you cannot exchange the coins with other COAs, unlike the uncarded ones.

thanks that answers my question, wasnt sure if there was anything linking the certs to a particular coin. the carded variety is different.

Two dealers and retail prices starting at 42.60. All other coins got soaked up by the market. Pretty impressive regarding the drop in price of silver. I think the saltwater crocodile marks the way the stock horse will go. Prices above 50!

And dont listen to eurokrem, he must have had bad experiences with horses in his childhood... otherwise, his behaviour is not explainable.

This coin had a Price from 19 per coin from PM to buyer, that's why all smell Dollars and make each other hot on this coin, its like Journey to Jerusalem, when the Music stops guy with most Horse coins on stock is going to stay alone with his losses and flippers are going to cry all over.

What are you talking about? This coin was never available to dealers for that low....

i just asked a German Dealer if he could guarantee and show a official PM statement that this is a Series.

Not something from Blog but a officially PM Statement about it, i didn't find nothing alike on PM Site, no other Horse coins are planed for 2014 except Lunar II Series ?

Am i searching on wrong Place ?

I am still waiting on his Answer :)

@Ikarus

where are you ?

From the dealer brochure...if you can read german:

It states "First in Series" when translated. The German dealer who commissioned this coin confirmed this.

do these come with a certificate of authenticity? did anyone that get these also get a certificate with a coin number?

These coins come in individual capsules, within rolls of 20, in a box of 300. They come with a proper Certificate of authenticity. The certificate has a number out of 10,000.

Here is a picture of the COA

Mintage of 1000 for carded. Exclusive to Australia.

9000 for non-carded, rest of the world.

1000 all sold out. 9000 still have stocks remaining.
what about the dealer that got some of the carded to resell?

As far as I know, dealers weren't given the carded version to sell.

mintage is 10 k for coins
1k for cards

it's so simple

BTW what the COA numbers gonna be for carded ones?
in low range or 9001 to 10000?

I'm very curious about this too. I should ask the German dealer.

Also ich glaube auch wirklich nicht da EMK da nchstes Jahr nochmal welche anfordert.Die haben NULL Interesse daran nochmal ein Geschft zu machen.

it means, he dont believe that EMK is going to put Order on those coins in 2014 !

Well, he says he knows very well what is going on, its a well informed Insider in German Coin Business, also very respectable Member of our German Board, when he says that there is no other Horse coin 2014 i believe on his info.

He had put this info on locked part of German Board so only registered Members could see it but i think he dont risk his good Name for false Info.

Why would Perth mint confirm it is the first of a series?

Why wouldn't they release one next year considering how well this one sold? I don't think they would shoot themselves in the foot when there is profit to be made.

I would suggest just waiting till 2014 and if it is a flop you can tell us "I told you so", if not then don't post about it again.

It's true. Next release will be made by CIT. Only 999 coins will be made. Every coin will have hair from worldwide horse champion of season 2013/204.
They will beat PM (Australia Cardboard release sell out) record in few minutes.....

Here is quote from dealer. If he is lying we can send him hate mail. :P

one series per year

I've made sure of this with the German dealer who comissioned this over the phone, and I will send them an email requesting this in writing if it helps you guys.

But they already told me they've already designed the next horse in the series, and have told me Issue date of May 2014.

So the guy who said its not happening doesn't know what he's talking about.
