Well that was a whole load of nothing started ~48.50 and ended ~48.50 18 hrs later after a jump of ~$1 and a fall of ~75c
 
enters the control room..relatively clean, it appears nothing much got out of hand last night. A bit of straightening, a quick dust, clean up the pizza boxes and that empty vodka bottle. Oh empty..reminds me to get another for Maggie. I know a liquor store that sells the good Ukranian stuff. 48.36 not such a wild night..reminds me to get buying

Making an early prediction early tonight.Want to be first in tonight. I'm going to tip silver at US$50 tonight. Why you ask?. Because when NY closes to night you won't be able to do anything about it till Tuesday.The only alternative is for silver to drop to $45US and you won't be able to do anything about that either.

Hoping it does drop to 45 but it doesn't bode well for us at the moment with prices rising like a rocket to 44.47 AUD :(

I can hear them singing God Save the Queen right now.

I've just checked the charts a short time ago, and discovered that we had moved exactly 25 metres from where we were last night. Upon checking further it was revealed to me that the reason for our lack of progress was that someone forgot to raise the anchor last night.

That oversight has now been remedied, and we are now making a bit of headway at last.

The winds may drop later tonight, so we could spend some time becalmed, and may even drift away from our primary objective. If that happens we will drop the sea anchor to slow things down.

Those of you not on active duty tonight may like to retire to the Cable TV room. I believe chef has battered cod and chips on the menu. Tonight's rum ration will be served in our best china teacups.

MightyAtom, can you please rearrange the deck chairs and put out the quoits sets on the middle deck? Silver Natural 9, can you run the Baccarat table tonight?

Hotel 46, can you please drag out the VHF extension cables from the box behind the pool tables and roll out the additional cable as we get underway. (CK, I told you we should have paid that little bit extra for satellite.)
