Evening all,

hi Errol43

Quick check in for the night.

Not much to fear tonight. Usually get a pulldown like we are seeing now before a Fed speech.

Probably see a recovery later in New York around lunch time.

The markets already know that Bernake will extend the QE process, so they are already up and will no doubt rise further on the 'good news'.

This might weaken the PM sector somewhat. But do we care?

Nah! We've already BEEN to 50 and have just come back to smell the roses that we passed in our hurry to get there.

We are in control now.

My instructions for the night.

Ram the Bythbergs and sneer inthe face of the storm!

"Fire all of your guns at once and ..."

(Oh, and don't make too much mess down below in the Mess or MightyAtom will get MightySore on the first watch tomorrow!)

SPOT: USD $ 45.31 and falling.

Hi Turk, I am with you, All guns blazing

Seems to be on a steady course at the moment. 45usx42au. Got up then knocked down again earlier in the night. Might be a tough night in the fog unless we get further instructions from NY Reserve Forces. Be prepared to dive at any moment.

Regards Errol43

It's spiking up and down, but overall looks like a downward trend. Will be interesting to see how it eventuates after I wake up.

Interesting with the AUD at 1.08 now and the US price of silver dropping... Weird combination of events. US getting weaker relative to AUD yet Ag dropping in US... hmmm The two events certainly look positive for buyers.

Could investors, already being jaded by the decrease of the USD be selling in fear of a collapse?

Isn't just it the same cause though - the printing press?

Printing more paper dollars, printing more naked short contracts.

Yes,

While China has been slashing its US debt holdings since October, it still remains the largest creditor. At the end of February, China held $1.15 trillion of US debt, down $600 million from the previous month.
