Don't think they will be releasing it in bullion form Nugget , not unless it comes on a pure Ag DVD . :P

By the way who's been feeding the Viagra to the silver chart again ?

I was hopping to get a few cheaper ounces locked in tonight, but doesn't looks that way.

i reckon that if we r going to ram iceberg 50 we should see if we can sink it. its only ever been seen once.

I reckon we could/should just smash it into tiny little pieces and use it up in our nightly cocktails. The SS SilverSatacker ship of fools is surely made of more sturdy stuff and would barley feel a slight bump with the shenanigans and raucous behavior that go's on on board each night compared to any effect of Blythe berg 50.

Can someone explain something to me:

If the printing of money is one of the major reasons for the jump in the price of silver, and it would seem global currency has doubled in the last 8 (approximately) years:

SmallGlobalMoneySupply.png

2003 - $30 Trillion to 2011 - $60 Trillion = Doubled

Then silver, which has done the following since the same time (2003):

last-10-years.jpg

$5 in 2003, to $50 in 2011 = 10x

It would seem that silver has more than corrected for such increase in circulation. In fact, it has increased 10x in value compared to the 2 fold increase of fiat supply.

Discuss.

nothing much to discuss, money in circulation affects silver, however you cant establish a direct correlation between the two, it is a direct effect yes, but not a direct correlation...

Anyhow, about tonight, I am expecting tonight to be a key night in the faith of silver in the short term, we will either continue playing around $45-$50 or pass the mark or shoot over the mark...My books suggest that after having a nice taste of profits after the long weekend, NYMEX will dump it again and take profits towards the end of the night...I would be very surprised if it shoots over $50, expecting it to return to $46ish...

Evening all,

(I can see my Tough Ol' Captain act needs much further refinement. Thanks crew! (sniff!) )

Now, to business, but first... I notice someone has put streamers and balloons all over the fore' deck. Are we expecting another party tonight? Mighty Atom has just finished cleaning up after last night's 'little shindig'. Poor lad's all done in now.

OK. I've just come up from the chart room and checked the glass. It looks like we might be heading into a storm later this evening which might retard our progress. Hotel 46 try to steer around it if you can.

What ever you do, don't throw out the 1000oz ballast bars!

Keep a sharp lookout up top Maggie as we might cross the 50th parallel tonight. Seas might get choppy close to the line and a stiff breeze might make further progress hard.

Some sailors have been blown badly off course in these seas. The Hunt Brothers were never heard of again when they passed this way many moons ago.

I expect better from my crew! You are all seasoned hams, I mean HANDS. I would hope... umm, Maggie, why are you tied to that pole? No, never mind. I hope that if we cross that line we will conduct ourselves in a manner befitting the high status of Night Stackers. No posting pictures of fireworks or merry songs or any of that kind of thing.

They say that as you cross the line, if you listen carefully you can still hear Bunker whispering "COMEX HAS RAISED THEIR STINKING MARGINS AGAIN WILLIE! WE'RE DOOMED!".

Let the night begin.

(I hope one of you will give grinners a cogent and informed answer to his excellent question.

I shall remain in the chart room tonight - erasing those smiley faces from the Ship's Log that someone added last night after the conga bash.)

SPOT USD $ 48.44 and rising.

So the fiat currency being inflated out of existence is hugely exagerated relative to the silver increase in price (by a factor of 5)?

Oh and $48.42 :)

GSR was 70:1 and higher during most of that period thus increase in price was 10x for silver.

Financial Karma at work !
