The first post has a link to Sydney Morning Herald. Is that main-stream enough?
When I talk about MSM I mean the television and the 6 o'clock news.....Not everyone has time to surf the net all day searching for the latest news......MOST people are at work struggling to make a living.

That's so that when business turns to s**t they can just roster everyone off instead of paying them redundancies.
Easier to deal with problem workers too.

Yes i'm starting to realise all the benefits of 'casual' employment for the employers...... The work I do is quite easy but most of the other guys work quite hard all day for the same $22 per hour rate.... I believe they should get pay more for the amount of work they do...... Thers a fair bit of pressure to get cars done and out of the production line as quick as possible so the customers can get what they have paid for as soon as possible...... The work I do is mostly using air tools so its pretty easy, I would assume I will be trained on the 'advanced' areas after a few months if I even last that long?

US govt is about to shut down and potential for default on bonds is rising...
... so of course everybody is flooding into bonds pushing the yield down...
makes perfect sense
in the bizzarro world we now live in
tolly_67 said:Yes Volrathy...but I very much doubt that the counterparty will have enough capital to pay out in the event of a default.....and due to the fact that the counterparties of the swaps are invested in the same toxic shit....you would see a domino effect of bankruptcies in same major institutions.....scary stuff.
