It's obvious that the items you guys are linking to are clearly not genuine...
What about this one, it looks genuine and is even advertised prominently as NON-MAGNETIC. Why would you want a non-magnetic one if not to avoid a common test for fake bullion?

Conveniently cropped the title SilverPete?

;)
Reused the image from the previous page where the NON-MAGNETIC bit was being highlighted. In this case, there's probably a couple of indicators it is not genuine if you know what to look for, but why use the actual Perth Mint gold bar image? And why non magnetic?

Are we seriously going to start having a product by product in-depth discussion about what is considered clearly fraudulent, clearly non-fraudulent and everything in between?
I'd rather go to a music site and discuss what's metal and not metal and why nu-metal is definitely not metal while dark ambient definitely can be.

Pull yer head in bored silver!!!!!!!!

Don't you know this is a fkn democracy and we all got free speech and can waste as much valuable resources internet time stuff as we like??????

Gawd knows.

I think I know..... It suggests it'll make it easier for the buyer to pass it off as real. I contacted the seller of one of the kg bars months ago and said I would pay $12,000.00 for it. He was local so I said face to face and he said no due to security. I responded I could meet him at the police station and we could do the transaction near the front counter inside the police station........ I never heard back from him and he would not respond to my messages.

Do you think it was non legit?

This listing has no mention of being non-genuine. Even has fake bids to $25,000.

Dumb enough to list his car for sale at same time with rego clearly visible.

This is the fella I told I would meet at the police station and pay $12,000.00 for the bar and he stopped reply to my messages. It had to be "shipped to me" I spoke to his associate on the phone. The associate sounded very boganish.

Yeah today they released the Dragon, Wedge Tail Eagle, US Peace Dollar, Tiger too.

I don't have a problem with them as long as they are sold as what they are, but some may try to deceive and that's where the problem comes from people not the bars etc..

The problem as I see it is not the initial sale where they are stated as layered or 100mils or whatever but where to next seller tries to pass them off as real.

Some fakes on eBay are close to the price of the real coin. Looking at the the seller's other listings, it seems he's just ordering stuff from Aliexpress and reselling on eBay.
