It's not even a graven image by their own crazy standards, someone's handwriting from 4000 years ago, such a personal and fragile object, that's survived 40 centuries only to smashed to dust by some idiot who doesn't know enough to appreciate that they should draw strength from their heritage.
The only good thing to come out of this is that the world is finally paying attention to the Kurds, if any people deserves a country of their own it's them. Stable, mostly peaceful (considering the situation they've been living in, amazingly so), they've welcomed in Christians and they want to open up and do business with the west. The only reason they haven't gotten exactly what they want is that everyone is afraid of offending Turkey, although they should be thankful that they have the Kurds as a buffer to ISIS so here's to hoping they feel some debt towards them when things calm down. If they don't like the PKK they should be supporting the Pesh.

Because this is the JOTD forum I suppose I should post something funny. Watch between 27 and 28 minutes for the funny. I wouldn't take much of Max's advice and but he's good to watch, or in this case listen to. Before anyone asks I think Alex Jones belongs in a padded room or on trial for fraud, don't ask me how I found this.

Perhaps it could be re-named as the Clearing House..for emotians and stuff..and that might be the best use for humour
