Sadly the mere mention of nuclear energy (even via Thorium) is enough for the Greens to pooh-pooh such an energy source given they wish to portray all nuclear energy as evil....and much of the public buy it.....The Greens will never support Thorium as it would put them out of business as too the manufacturers of nuclear weapons.
