Is the 2015 kookaburra design a winner?

Hey stackers, I've been thinking of buying more of this years kookaburra (no privy mark version). I think it might be a good numismatic play because the design is so beautiful and it is an anniversary edition. At this time of the year the premium is rediculously low, on apmex you can get them for .40 cents USD more per oz than an ASE. What do you guys think?
 
There is nothing wrong with the 2015 kookaburra design. Is it worth .40 USD more per oz than an ASE? If it gets a good numismatic value, then yes. You could always get some and keep them in a "collection stack" along with other things that might get numismatic one day, or which simply look good like the Zombucks.
 
I like all of the kookaburra coins better than the ASE. I initially started collecting ASE until I got bored because the only thing that changes is the data.

Even though I don't like it, I can see why they keep the consistent design given it is the best selling coin in the world - it's just not for me.
 
Both options have the same down side (if spot drops), but the Kook's potential upside is significantly higher. That's my thinking anyway!
 
There's only 3 rules when you join the Kook Klan..

Rule 1, Don't talk about kook's.

Rule 2, Don't talk about kook's.

Rule 3, Don't talk about kook's.

Good design....take a look at previous 2 years which were drawn up on an Ipad.

Also check to see if apmex ships to omnipresent.
 
I think this years kook will be a key year, aside from the first kook, the 2015 kook is a good representation of all the kooks.
Being not only the 25 year kook but also the copy of the 1st kook.
So those who don't collect kooks but want a kook will most likely chose the 2015 if they just want one kook.
That means a lot will be gone from the Kook' Klan's reach, making it a key kook.
 
In the US, longer term and in smaller amounts, the kook is the winner. Short term and in large quantities, the ASE is the winner. Situation may be the opposite in AU. I can sell 1000 2015 ASEs with one phone call and get the normal buy premium. I have never had a dealer willing to buy more than 40 kooks of a particular year at one time and the 40 coin order was for an out of stock item.

I talked to one of their reps, they will in fact ship to me:)

P.S. It has been awhile since I logged in the forum. Missed the forum, the trades, the silver purchases. My last trades here didn't go well as of my job. Since then haven't added an ounce as business trips is my current way of life. Those who has no precious metals must have some. I am sure after I have what has hapenned with yen, aud, cad, rub, many other currencies during last 4-5 months. USD will be the last that fails it will burn most to death.
 
I quite like them, I bought a few 10oz when they were cheap but opted for 10oz goats instead of the kilo Kook. I probably should have gone for the kook.
 
Kooks and ASE,s in equal stacks, Silver Maples are down the "Gurgler" has to be the ugliest Queen design i have ever seen anywhere!
 
If you take the coins out of the capsules, then yes. If not, don't do what I did a little while back and let the capsule accidentally hit the ground and Crack the case....
