Didnt the Americans just finish genocide in Iraq? Or is 1.5 million dead civilians in iraq just a statistic now?

Thank you.

Just sooo sick of the hatred towards America. I'm over it.

It's not hatred, it's apathy.

it's definitely hatred...and ignorance.

It's really sad, because you know nothing about it. Complete ignorance.

Thank you for letting me know how ignorant I fell about a topic. Can you please tell me how I should feel about pie shops that charge you for tomato sauce vs. those that don't? You seem to have a better understanding to my feelings and opinions than I do.

Who wouldn't hate America? I hope we never need "freedom" brought to our country. Rape and pillage by a empire in it's death throes is hardly anything to be admired.

And America has one of the best police and Justice systems in the world, you can't argue with the stats

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_pri_per_cap-crime-prisoners-per-capita

They have managed to catch more criminals within their own country than anyone else in the world, in fact, according to the link, they have managed to convict 715 citizens for every 100,000. Way better than the Russians in the number 2 spot who have only managed to lock up 584 of their citizens per 100,000.

Australia can barely manage to lock up 116 out of every 100,000 citizens, so I assume the police are rubbish at catching criminals and the courts keep letting them go.

Plus America makes the best cars in the world, as evidenced by them having the most car thefts in the world, who would nick an old Holden in Australia?

In fact with 11,000,000+ reported crimes in America you stand in the top spot! Not just for murders with guns and the most prison population, all reported crimes.

I am buying my ticket now!

Plus what about Hussman's brick? I am growing concerned by you trying to dodge the difficult questions!

Lets just start by picking out three things that are wrong in your argument

microwave: whilst the patents may exist in the US for the "heating through electromagnetic waves" it would be effectively useless (there are other ways of doing it, but none as easily or efficiently) without the invention of the cavity magnetron, same thing that is use (or at least was, no idea if it still is) in RADAR, another invention

television: again, not yours, the father of television was scottish, John Logie Baird and due to his use of a Nipkow disk in his early demonstrations it could be argued that the originator was Paul Gottlieb Nipkow a German university student who invented the disk that now bares his name in Paul Gottlieb Nipkow

airplane: sorry, but gliders existed long before the wright brothers, and although they can perhaps claim to have had the first powered flight, there is now anecdotal evidence that this was achieved in New Zealand before the wright brothers. Moving this into the future the Jet engine, could be attributed to any of three men, NONE are American; Maxime Guillaume whom was french, Frank Whittle whom was English (and is commonly attributed to be the founder of jet technology) and Hans von Ohain, whom was German (although I doubt his claims about him being unaware of Whittle's work, thereby making him nothing more than a competitor, rather than an inventor), as for ram and scram jets I do not know to much about them, but for scram it could have been bell industries but as I said, I am unsure, to add insult to injury here the helicopter whilst worked on by Edison was originally got working by a Slovak Jn Bah

Stuff the pie shops, I went to a chip shop and they charged me $2 for a pot of watered down vinegar, not happy! Won't be going there again.

Damn in the time it took me to write that (I started when there was no other posts two pages of posts, and in the time for the post to submit and the page to refresh two posts, way to go

... We have global brands to include Coca-Cola, Nike, McDonalds, Citigroup, Xerox, Microsoft, Google. We invented things like the airplane, car, nuclear weapon, microwave, television, telephone, internet, Hollywood films.

But you don't have Vegemite, you have Tom Cruise and you get felt up at your airports? Your argument does not stack up.

Does Australia have those? Check! Definately showing that you have neither been here nor seen anything about this continent.

Bwwaahh Ha Ha! You are demonstrating otherwise.

... Also, since a majority of you are uneducated and can't see past your computer screen, you'll chalk this up to American arrogance, and you will, as you always do, make stereotypical comments about the entire country based on one post.

There we go! What was that again about sterotyping? You just confirmed my suspicions of your statement above this one. Fortunately, the vast majority of Americans that I have met have had some world experience based on their OWN experiences, not just what they have read. Time to grow up my friend.
