High Relief 1oz dragon proof

Did anyone try and order this coin from Downies:

I did and just received an email that there website had a glitch and there were more orders than stock available so sorry we cant deliver your coin but please have 5% discount on next order as an apology.

I just got an email with similar content. too bad.

I am wondering whether they are going to do the same thing for that Berlin Show dragon coin I ordered from them.
 
i don't buy from them any more basically they are to unreliable ordered several diff coins over the last year never got one of them no email nothin, just nothin !!
so i buy where i know i will get what i order and its not downies they over the last few years have gone downies hill real fast.

I only order from reliable dealers. Steve (Aurura et Luna) and Golstackers are very reliable and deliver in a timely fashion. Steve's the fastest though (I suspect he owns a post office)

I ordered a Berlin Water Dragon from Euro collections a few weeks ago. Got a confirmation email, nothing else since.
Anyone else out there in the same boat?
 
I wrote to them on Monday about my black dragon order and was told they had only just come in and were being sent out this week so hopefully not too much longer to wait :)
 
Received the same email. I'm not impressed with Downies. First time and most probably last time TRYING to buy from them.
 
It's not really a bother for me, I know it will get here eventually. I just figure it takes time for the Perth Mint to actually get the coins out to retailers...

thanks, I ordered one too from Downies (the parent company of Eurocollect), have not heard from them either. I will call them tonight if I can remember :)

They process order very slow even if for older coins. Sometimes can be as long as 2 months. Seems the company is mismanaged.

I ordered one from Talisman coins, have not heard from them either.

I read that each US dealer can only get 3 High Relief Dragon coins. It may be true.

Haha, I've just bought from them enough times, and not had any problems with them other than sometimes taking a while for stuff to arrive. I've queried it in the past and it's usually because there has been a delay with whatever mint or distributor they are coming from. I'm a small business owner so I know that shit happens with distributors. Plus I'm not a "flipper", I'm just a collector, so it's not important for me to get these coins quickly so I can turn a profit on ebay :D

You ordered one from talisman??? when did they have these listed ,I have called and emailed then about this for weeks with no response.
 
I got the coin today from the mint and it is AWESOME. So much detail on the dragon. I just wished they made a 2oz version..

Did you order yours at 3am?
 
I tried ordering at 3am, took too long and we back to sleep! I ordered mine around 7am...I don't think they send the coins out based on time of order. Like the 1oz bullion coins, I ordered mine before my friend, but his came first in the mail 2 days before mine!

Yeah, I noticed that too, they just send them out randomly, I have tested this theory with friends. And for some reason PM always sends me the dragon with the number "4444" on them, is that good number ;)
