High Relief 1oz dragon proof

Talisman coins suck, I can't understand why anyone would want to do business with them.

Still waiting for my 5 x 1oz Coloured Proof Dragons to arrive. (been months now)
They took the order, took my credit card details. Still no email or coins.
Contacted them at least 5 times to ask what the status of the order is = no reply.
Haven't been charged yet either.
Would be nice to know either way if they are sending them or not.
So can at least look elsewhere to buy.

lol I live about 250 miles from them and it took 17 days before they even shipped it, then another week.

maybe they should try charging $250 for the dragon then hire some help hahaha

Here is what it looks like compared to a 1oz Silver Bullion Dragon.
Yeah it would look nice in a bigger coin.. eg. 2oz or 5oz or 1kg.

Agree... PM should have done High Relief coins in 2 oz, that is too small even if thicker.

Not sure why they all have to be legal tender though, if you made these Uniface and ditched the legal tender status you could make a nice round and have it a little wider and still keep it at 1oz. who is going to look at the back or spend it anyway? I am pretty sure if it wasn't legal tender they could make any size they wanted without the need to get Gov permission.

Knowing my luck they will bring out a type set of High Relief in time for the Snake.

I knew the Piedfort was thicker but I haven't seen one, they don't look to be particularly High Relief but then the photos never do them justice anyway.

Piedfort sounds a bit french and doesn't tell you anything about the coin. High Relief gives you a clue, and sounds more Australian.

No. Piedfort means twice the normal weight and thickness.

Got the High Relief in the post today, it does look a bit small, but it also looks pretty nice too. would be much better much bigger!

They should be called "Ultra High Relief Piedfort 1oz Dragon".

High Relief - means hand-polished and quadruple struck.
Piedfort - means that coin thicker than usual. Twice the thickness of standard coins, not the weight.

So basically this coin has high relief & Piedfort as well.

Didn't think it was possible but the PM is making Elizabeth uglier each year. I am all for being honest but that's perhaps too much detail on the wrinkles, especially those neck gills.
