I ordered 5, hopefully they were capsuled by the mint and have less nicks.

The trouble is they don't !!!
Afraid you will get naked coins.

Perth bullion emailed me and confirmed they were in capsules, because I was going to buy capsules.
I just didn't ask by who though.

Yeah, they will ship to you with capsule, but the coins were shipped in tube (with no capsule) from Euro, so you can image the possible damages on coin's surface.

I got some and none of them can be graded as MS70 or even 69.

Pity but thanks, I don't take much notice on ms grading for bullion. There is potentially a million been minted.
In any case these coins like all my coins will be inside my glass coffee table. So no one will notice

It's true as I am not going to put them into SLAB as well. However, the pirate 2 oz coins are looks better as the design will prevent the face to face contacts. Anyway, I still not happy to see the cuts or scratches on queen's face (it means I won't be able to resell them with a decent price).

if all the beasts are nicked, it should not be too bad on premiums.
though the lucky direct buyers who potentially receive coins that could be graded ms69/70 will be happy.

I read somewhere proof versions are being made later too, but i dont buy proof coins.

...any info about The Queens Beasts PROOF versions?

I don't know how true it is, http://thesilverforum.com/topic/5788-proof-queens-beast-range-coming-later-this-year/

ty for link,it looks like very "diplomatic" answer from Royalmint :)

If there is high demand with the bullion, i guess it is a possibility, if it tanks than less of a chance. I don't know much about RM, do they have a history of making proofs with their 1oz britannica?

I got mine today, no capsule either :(. Would these still fit in the standard 40mm capsule or do we need thicker ones?

I 've tried the one that are used for the privateer series, the coin fits but won't close all 100% They are not quite deep enough

Nope, the 2oz privateer capsules won't fit as snugly as the threaded ones provided by Royal Mint.

Annoying I know cos I bought a tube and some singles. The ones in the tubes don't have capsules but the singles do. Hope they make it available for sale, or some third-party company starts producing them. Would be worthwhile seeing how it's a 10 year series.

I read few weeks back about a capsule, but it was only available in us for a tight fit.
Ill be interested in 50 or maybe even more, as this one of the only two coins so far that i plan to collect a full set, and especially because i don't want to pay a premium for coins released years ago.
