Great new bullion series from the Royal MInt: The Queens Beasts

I got a silver one and qould have liked to get a 1/4 oz gold one but for some reason both of them have gone from the RMB site. The silver piece is truly stunning nicely enclosed in a screwtop capsule.

Maybe the mint is struggling to keep up with demand?

Could be true. I have only just started this hobby so am not very familiar with the working methods of RM. I do hope that is the case though as I would love to get a 1/4 oz coin.

On another note I can't believe that it's going to take 10 years to complete this collection:rolleyes:
My own feeling is this won't strictly be an annual issue.
I am sure the mint will want to roll these 10 out in a much reduced time frame.

This first coin looks amazing. I love everything about the set. Ten years is long, but I could see two coins a year being fairly probable. Even ten years would not be the end of the world, adding extra excitement during the wait. The silver coin is still not at my dealer; I sure hope it shows up...

Try Perthbillion for the gold 1oz.
He told me that the premiums on the silver isn't worth his company purchasing the large volume required.
I'm hoping that he gets the quarter oz but I'm not holding my breath.

guys speaking about 10 years, lunars get 12 years to complete and it is not seems to be a problem for folks

I prefer it to be one coin per year series ... too much coins and the market overwhelmed with series, people are getting frustrated with too much to choose from.

world bubble, couldn't agree more. The stuff they are coming out with lately is quite frankly a bit ludicrous. silver with pizza, I mean really folks. All this craziness has simply lead me to the pure silver coins, like the Perth Mint Lunar, Koala, and Kooks; and China pandas. I forget everything else now. I think more and more folks will KISS with regard to silver. I mean, astroids, and pizza, and jewels, and etc...it is stupid. But obviously, it must have market, because they wouldn't do it, if it weren't profitable (???). Look at the SilverBulletSilverShield series, I think I heard it said he's producing a new image every couple weeks??? I mean, wow. And then you have Provident doing the same, and many, many others doing it to. Sure doesn't sound like there is a silver supply issue. LOL.

2 coins per year seems a better option in my opinion. Spending 40 on a silver coin every 6 months is reasonable enough.

The lunars take 12 years because they are produced on the specific year. Whereas the Queen's Beasts do not have to abide to a timescale. Some people might get frustrated but in the real world you can't please them all. :) I'd say people who get frustrated are collecting too much:D:lol:

We had a group buy last week and bought the last 900 silver coins they had and we are still waiting for 300 more of them to be made for another order. They should arrive early this week

Ordered mine from Perth bullion, can't wait.

I will come to pickup from them next week.

Just bought some 2016 Queens Beasts and they are amazing!

Anyway, they came in tubes with no original capsule protected. I found a lot of them have minor scratches (especially on queen side). It might be done by the movement between coins.

Surprised me that I can't see this issue happened on Privateer coins - it might be a design issue.
