I found this just a little while ago. 1786 Proclamation coin. The seller has 3 more proclamation coins listed .The photos are terrible..which prompted me to ask the seller if they were genuine.
His quick reply was to ask me not to bid on them ,if unsure...which I will certainly do :)

However ,could be bargains up for grabs...

Id take heed to what the seller says here - he owns an auction house in Brisbane

The seller has said very little regarding the items listed. I would have thought that an owner of an auction house would ,at least try to describe his items much better. Can you say professionalism? SP? :)

In the meantime,I have had some contact with the lister..he tells me he will "try " and put up some better photos.

Meanwhile ..last I looked his listings were being underwhelmed with bids :)

lol I call fake!
looks like they are selling what someone else previously bought of ebay.
Not good for their reputation!

yeh look at his pics, and he isn't selling his own stuff. bet you anything that his bids are pushed up by a shill as well
what did you get oz?

I think they would be fine being a junk lot, the seller is just selling other peoples stuff and ii recon they got given a lot of fake coins, I am waiting for the us trade dollars to pop up :)

His listings on ebay are managed by his teenage son so good luck with that.

All Im saying is that his good stuff goes through the auction house....that that isnt ends up on ebay...take from that what you will.

Anyone here "rolling the dice" on the Proclamation coins?

Time is fleeting on these. Fess up Silver Stackers...SP ?... oz? ..all you secretive buggers :)

Who knows we could see them flipping on here in a few weeks.

Go Well

Surprised to see a shifty listing from is wright sydney

They have a 2006 commonwealth games trimetal coin that they are claiming has 7.8 grams of gold in the middle

They even went to the trouble of photographing the page from the McDonald's catalog that states this
But the McDonald's book is wrong on this one - the trimetal coin is all silver.

That is clear in the description on the certificate, which they do not show in the listing :/

I've almost gotten burnt on this in the past myself - lucky I checked the cert before buying at the time

So the 2002 Commonwealth Games coin was truly tri-metal but the 2006 only had a gold-plated centre (and copper edge)?

Wow. That is confusing.

Didn't see this thread until now.
A few days ago APMEX had Gold 1oz Pamp bars for $1225.

Looking at current prices, I now see why there were so many "sales" this past week. :p
