I’ve started betting on the a-league again. Was my most lucrative punt pre-covid but now ludicrous, can’t pick a winner.
 
I personally love the environment and atmosphere at the casino - specifically table games. Generally speaking, I have a major problem with the promotion of gambling. Compulsive gambling destroys more lives than people tend to believe, and many people have compulsive gambling habits without realising it. IMO, Pokie machines should be banned because they utilise techniques to program the subconscious. They seem innocent but they are far from it. Such subconscious programming is banned in advertising, yet allowed to go largely unchecked with pokie machines.

Even casinos use questionable techniques to keep patrons in their venues for longer. The lack of windows, strategic placement of clocks and the layout of the overall casino and cashier booths are carefully planned.
 
Lately been gambling on small, speculative assortment of lithium stocks with a side of graphite... unfortunately there's no free spins or feature like the pokies but and also no loud,drunken abuse in the background ;)

More fun to watch table games than to waste time playing and losing money IMHO. Especially the famous YouTube poker blow ups!

You should try the casino in Darwin - there's just one clock which can only be seen from directly front-on, although in fairness, if you're looking at the clock then you've already found the cashier...
That's assuming of course that the power hasn't gone out due to the massive thunderstorm going on outside :rolleyes:
