Bulk Bullion looks like a bad experience about to occur

Just a quick rant I purchased some bullion from these guys last week as they promised free delivery on their web site.
It is not a massive order but it is it frustrating when good communication is lacking.

I placed the order and paid on the 4 May. They acknowledge receiving payment on the 5. On the 7 I sent an email asking for an update on the order or if there was an issue with the order. I realize that they could be busy and may have a backlog however a quick note to let me know that would have gone a long way to reduce my anxiety, since they have no issue sending me marketing material therefore they must have time to answer an email.

I have tried getting in contact with them via their web site since I did not receive a reply to my email and I am still waiting for a reply.

This is the first and last time I will purchase from them.

Thanks tried calling their number 1300 242 393 only to be told to leave a message. I did not as I have nothing nice to say and I'm too annoyed besides I don't think they'll callback as I'm still waiting a reply on their chat via their website So if you have a different number I'd appreciate it.

I've ordered from BB quite a few times and as we know the price is locked in when you buy, I've never heard of an order not getting fulfilled so I'm happy to sit back, wait until I receive the shipping details and relax. They have always come through and I'd order from them again.

As I said it's frustrating when good communication is lacking. The order was fulfilled but the experience was not a great one. I believe that if an order is placed online it is reasonable to expect the order to be dispatched in a timely manner especially when you requested express post. I have no issue should the item be held up by the courier as it is out of the sellers control and the seller has actually posted it and not just created the label. I received my order only after I asked when they will actually post the item.


I don't think it's unreasonable to expect an acknowledgment to emails/queries, for all I know they only do their postage once a week/month. I have not changed my opinion regarding BB since there are other dealers out there who are more professional and communicative. Price being locked in is not a feature.
