BRICKX

It’s a genuine donation. I just wasn’t expecting you to actually request the money over donating it :/
Wow.

First: You shouldn't offer "donation or bank deposit" in a public thread to make someone feel bad about directly accepting their bet winnings. That's just a cheap shot.
Second: You then ignore the response and send it as a donation anyway? WTF.

Nice of you to donate $200 to the Salvation Army House, but it seems you owe @willrocks a bank deposit as he won this fair and square.

Well now I cannot even get a tax deduction.

When you assume, you make an ass of u and me.
You couldn’t anyway as it was in my name.

Who said I wasn’t going to deposit it? Of course I was but by the time I got around to checking the PM, that info had been redacted so I am unable to do so.

So the donation was always yours.

Yes, it was redacted it after your cheap-shot. You certainly did not attempt to resolve it.

Being an active SS member/trader often requires a high level of trust. That trust is earned over time, and is based on how they interact with other members. When members go back on their word it erodes forum confidence.

For the record:
  1. I won the bet with @House (that bitcoin will perform better than BrickX from 24 Sep 2018 - 24 Sep 2019)
  2. @House asked me to PM him with my bank details (or to make a donation)
  3. I replied stating I had PM'd him (my bank details)
  4. @House publicly posted a donation screen-shot with his details redacted
  5. Fearing that @House was acting irrationally (poor looser), I redacted my personal details from the PM
  6. @House then used my redaction as an excuse to welch on the bet
@House, have I missed anything, or made any errors?

Well yes. Unless you want me to donate the the other money in your name?

I wasn’t going to go running to the bank at 2.30 in the afternoon just to put cash in. Did the donation thing to momentarily rile you up a little bit but certainly did intend to deposit the cash. And for the record, I’ve never welched on any bet before so a measly $140 would hardly change anything.

@willrocks still haven’t unredacted anything so til then can’t do nothing.

Also, very highly doubt that if you had lost I would have been notified or received any winnings.

No.

No one asked you to.

There's always a first time.

I'm not sure I can trust you with my personal details.

Also, very highly doubt that if you had lost I would have been notified or received any winnings.

Had I lost the bet, I certainly would have paid up. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise?

Also, I wouldn't have taken a cheap-shot with regards to a donation.

Actually I paid the bet to, in my opinion, to a more well deserving charity (those poor people that don’t own commercial properties) than Willrocks but all of a sudden he doesn’t trust me. So technically bet was paid, just on my preferential terms and not his. Shame on me I know but hey, more to the point,

BTC is down a significant amount of percentages when Brickx is not.Brickx is how much?

that’s not how it works. You didn’t pay, and had no intention to pay.
