Speaking of Under Spot Gold & Silver, we've already had a look at the Olympic Centennial Set (
here), so let's dig a bit more into the Hutt River Province (later named
The Principality of Hutt River)
This was a micronation formed in the North-West of Western Australia, when Leonard Casley (later "His Majesty Prince Leonard I of Hutt") had a beef with the Western Australian government over wheat quotas

Wikipedia have quite a comprehensive page on it
here and it basically stood for 50 years before being dissolved last year in August (apparently another victim of Covid?

)
As for the rounds on offer here, Numista has the Proof Sovereign listed with a mintage of only 2000 (and it weighs slightly heavy at 8.04gms .916 gold

) with the $100 6oz Silver Proof having a mintage of only 500 (mintage references in the
initial post)

Also the
Numista page has the sovereign in this Auction as it picture reference
These coins are in great condition (although I did notice 2 red spots on the Automobile side of the Sovereign) and represent a great historic reference to our Australian story (and an excellent "middle finger" to the govmint

)
Auction finish starting in 1 & 1/4 hours' time
