I think what drive the coin set is the fact that it's only 1500 mintage compare to the individual coins.
the mintage of the coins is 6500 each. The mintage of the special packaging (i.e. the transporter) for the 2 coins set is 1500.

On the Starship Enterprise under Captain Kirk.
Star Trekkin' across the universe,
Only going forward 'cause we can't find reverse.
Northerncoins said:well if you can get the transporter set for issue price then its not much different then buying the 2 singles price wise, but a big difference mintage wise, well the coins are the same, eh , just get 1 of 1500 transporters.
