I don't think that we will get rich by having metals regardless of the many claims. It is just one option to gain some more cash through trading a good, but i wouldn't bet the bank on it being your only income source.

I like my citizen eco drive solar watch. Inexpensive, waterproof and reliable so far. No bells and whistles, just the time, date and a stopwatch.. And it isn't too large as to look ridiculous on the wrist. The last manual watch that I had didn't last the distance.

When you do sell for something more interesting/useful/more applicable to your lifestyle then it is amazing how the desire and interest wanes. The accumulation fervour that I once had for silver has gone.

I would never buy from alibaba for this exact reason. I don't even look there and its not on my radar as a result. I think that ebay is bad enough so there is no way I would go to alibaba
