Same, looking at the listing you couldn't mistake it lol.
though $399 for a replica lol. What an idiot.

Buyer omitted to reading the fine print :|

Tho the sale titles are very misleading from the seller. Buying gold from ebay is a fools game

the title is confusing.....enough to make you want to read the fine print.
however only a fool buys based on a title without reading the body of an advert.
as it is said, a fool and his money are easily parted

If you have a look at the negative feedback, its all from the same buyer - obviously someone who stupidly thought they were getting a bargain and went buy buy buy.

I hate all the fake gold on ebay (have bought a ring which was fake, but thankfully got refunded), but on the plus side at least the advert looked pretty suss to begin with ... but yes, the problem is these are highly likely going to be on-sold for bullion prices at some point, and not everyone has access to analysis equipment.

That seller has some ugly stuff in his listing.
Is the pic above the fake item? It doesn't state as such and hence surely the PM would be concerned?

Shouldn't be allowed to sell it at all, regardless of how it's advertised.
Perth mint needs to protect their products and monitor ebay far better than they do currently.

When I see such posts, I just report the hell out of it. It usually gets taken down.

Just another eBay scam.

I don't think the having an 'A' at the beginning of the serial automatically makes it a fake, all my green certicards start with 'A'

I live in Perth and have bought almost all of them from the mint in person, and there is a couple for sale on here from well established members that have an 'A' serial

Yeah, mine is with a 'A' too. Verify by Sigma as genuine.

You both are wrong!
CertiCard green assay cards are printed CertiCard on lower front bottom of assay card. If serial # starts with letter A its a fake produced in China.
The only Perth Mint green assay cards with authentic gold with serial # starting with letter A, are The Perth Mint tamper-evident case listed below.
