Does the seller get told of what your maximum bid is? If so, are they able to give you a "2nd chance offer" if your bid meets their reserve price?

Not easy to tell from the photo, but I've come across some 2oz dragons with a similar-looking white mark (also near the rim of the coin). The dealer then showed me another 3 or 4 dragons (presumably from the same roll) and they had the same mark in exactly the same part of the coin. Perhaps...

Seen them on bullion dragons as well, although they were mostly individual spots as opposed to large patches.

Occasionally I get some from 2011 (but not many). Haven't encountered 2012 coins yet either...

Are there currently any dealers selling the 2012 1oz version? It seems like most of them only have the 2011 version at the moment...

According to Perth Mint mintage figures they usually sell more 1kg than 10oz coins (at least for koalas and kooks), so perhaps it's not so surprising...
