2012 AUD circulating coins

Has anyone found a 2012 coin in their change yet? Seems odd I haven't found one. Don't even recall finding a 2011
 
I've een few '11s and '12s in my change.
With all the extra money printing going on, I would have expected heaps of shiny new coins out there :lol:

You get more bang-for-buck by printing $50'S and $100's

It's easier on the wheelbarrow too, eh.
 
havn't come across any '12's either and was thinking about it the other day. I'm always looking out for $1 2000's as well which seem to be scarce...
Getting lots of '10's though..

This explains why every time I use cash, they have no change for me.
 
Of all the countries in the world I've been to , Australia you seem to end up with the most amount of coins in your pocket .

The least coins I've seen is in China. They seem to hate coins, as a tourist you often get handfuls of coins dug out from some hidden place. China aslo seems has paper equivalents of of the coins. Having a wallet full of paper is easier than paper(plastic) and coins.

checked my pocket have a very warn 2011 50c coin.
