    Kook's are now $24.50

That you can still get S2 pig, dog, monkey, goat and rooster at Ainslie for about the same $$ makes me wary of lunars future value

    The Great Grain Robbery 1972

The scary bit was just after that when groups like the "posse comitatus" with ties to the Aryan Nations started coming around agitating these newly "dispossessed" people. Telling them just what they wanted to hear.

    The Great Grain Robbery 1972

I didn't watch the video, but grew up on a US wheat farm through all that. It was heavy. After the first spike in prices a lot of farmers borrowed against everything they had to buy more land at inflated prices and new equipment. People were planting every inch of dirt, ignoring the tradition...

Sell real estate now and buy later?

If an economy or currency collapse is eminent (highly doubtful) better to ride it out in your current country of residence. Getting your residency status, visas and banking whatnot in order takes time and planning to say the least. Most countries aren’t going to let you simply slide in, buy a...

    Trade Wars

The president is trying to appeal to his constituency through the next election cycle. It's a gamble though as consumer prices in the US are staring to nudge up already as material costs increase. Right now it seems to be mostly at the manufacturer/distributor level. But as retail stock levels...

    ebay question

There are still some old school folk out there. Most don’t know you haven’t had to set up an account to pay via PP for years. I still get the occasional money order and odd envelope of cash now and again.

    Problems with Aus Post?

I'm not a fan of AustPost. They know they are the only reasonably priced game on town and treat you as such. Have at times shipped 10K + packages annually now substantially less. No matter - at least one a month goes missing. Some big, others small. They once managed to misplace an entire UDL...

    $13 silver might be possible

I used to work in a restaurant and every staff member (myself included) had a theory about when and if we would be busy. Truth told, no one knew for certain and it would happen when it happened so you just tried to be prepared. Pretty much the same with precious metals.

What are gauge blocks made of?

From my experience- tungsten as it wears less. Mostly paying for accuracy which is critical when wringing (using multiple blocks to make up a given thickness).
