Kungfu Panda is here! NGC's new label

Perhaps they are trying to attract younger people into the hobby via KungFu panda? Trying to expand the market is not a bad thing. If a fraction of the kids bought the kung fu panda label just because 1.) they like the move 2.) they like the panda that would certainly pull several coins out of...

Silver under $22 AU again. Is stacking starting to SUCK ?

Trust me when I say I completely understand where you are coming from with this and in a lot of ways I feel the same. If you noticed, i said 'SOME' PM's, not all. In our lifetimes there will be spurts of instability and these PM's are good to counter the effects of a downward market. When you...

Silver under $22 AU again. Is stacking starting to SUCK ?

I'm looking at it as another buying opportunity. End of the year is always tough for me but at least this year I'm not selling. It sucks if you have to sell. A good cash position in Dollars looks the way to go and buy physical as premiums collapse or paper at the right entry point...

Pictures - Choice Mint 2016 3 oz silver Valkyrie Max High Relief

Seeing those prices, I'm glad I didn't pick it up. The delays no doubt hurt. I'm off this train, as well as a bunch of other trains. Risk/Reward ratio isn't there, hopefully there is the collector market that will help it out

2017 fiat pandas lost $350M market share - Where will that money go?

Either way, the premise of lost market share is not correct. If they are in fact sold out, that would show market share is still strong and not in decline. I am still surprised it is so cheap in Europe though, but it is 30g.

2017 fiat pandas lost $350M market share - Where will that money go?

    Your numbers are wrong. The mintage for 2016 is 600k across the board. The 2017s saw an increase 200k units of 3g, 400k units of 1g and 30g increased 100k, not including the 150g which is upped from 50k to 60k. Total gram increase. 200,000 1,200,000 3,000,000 1.5m ----- 5.9m g / 31.1 =...

$100 an ounce for silver sucker?

This generation is exposed to gold/silver believe it or not, but mainly in games. There is a whole economy in games to buy gold coins and gems in several games and collect things. The only thing is to bring it back to the real world and get people to see the real thing again. It would only take...

$100 an ounce for silver sucker?

That's easy, email and a generation that don't know that mailing things to each other is cool. Back in the day, we would have had to mail this to a news paper to communicate and wait. Now, we can talk to people all over the world instantly. Why would anyone see a stamp? Coins could face a...

$100 an ounce for silver sucker?

yes.. if i sold everything now, i'd be up. my cost was $770, i've already recouped $660 from selling 3 pf70's and 1 pf69. I think i'm just going to put them at auction and let them run to get rid of them before anything else happens. I still have 6 more. 2 spotted pf70's a pf68 and 3 pf69s, so...

$100 an ounce for silver sucker?

back on the topic.. i sold the pf70 2016 proof libertads for $200/oz and buyer just returned one because of a spot found. I had these in mylar bags, in intercept anti-tarnish bags, with dessicants. There's is not much more I could've done to protect it any better than that. These were graded...
