lately i've noticed there are very few MS69 listings @ ebay. recently even a 2009 ms68 sold for USD78, and some other years spiking up. probably demand>supply, thus bringing it up a whole new level?

Wow good price. Is the coin or graded?
I've been trying to get a 69 for under $100

Buy while you can !!! the pool of good quality coins in any quantities is shrinking rapidly.......... look at Fishballs Hoosan auction post browse the book ,a large portion of the coins are NGC graded, Chinese collectors are starting to get on this graded coin thing.........Here is the likely scenario IMHO, you have powerhouse sellers all over Shanghai and other spots in China, who have big inventories and have boatloads of money, these guys are not asleep:) and have seen the premium paid for graded coins, you see a couple of big shanghai sellers on e bay offering more graded coins, whereas before they where OMP and Raw sellers...... they have the money and inventory to start grading in a big way,IMHO they already have started, So what is the net result???? Imho ,they will keep the best coins to grade and as coins come back with lower than desired grades they crack them out and sell them to unsuspecting buyers , Keep in mind as graded coin prices go up so will the price of these culls in capsules, It already is happening , look at these dealers on e bay selling graded expo coins ........ look at there inventory , they sell the graded stuff and they give away the capsuled coins of the same year away. Why would that be if the coins where good?? Why wouldnt the dealer just grade them and get the premium?? because he either culled them to start or cracked them out of a low grade holder, thats why, I would take every opportunity to buy good quality coins at fair prices now! I am!! I am buying like crazy and selling a little along the way ,not to make money per say but to wind up with a few quality coins to keep for my kids. Anyone who is bottom fishing or waiting for "a bottom" IMHO is going to be sadly dissappointed, no one can pick a bottom in the stock market or anything else IMHO. unless the chinese economy goes underwater, in less than 2 years all these ms68 coins that folks think are junk will be selling like 69,s are nowIMHO,

Yep, I'm also a big believer that MS68s are undervalued.

I reckon the Chinese will be fine. They have a lot of economic and social stimulus tools they can use to encourage domestic growth at the appropriate times.

E.g. If they further relaxed the One-Child Policy, this would stimulate the economy in a big way.
E.g. More domestic infrastructure programs (e.g. The Shanghai-BeiJing Highspeed Railway).

Rates cut is a good sign. Generates more cash and jobs and a few inflation.

The China Top 5 Banks have said they are not going to go along with this rate change.
