Finally, just today got the all important phone call saying I have passed the medical checkover and I have a new full time job to start tomorrow morning.......I'm wrapped. Looking forward to getting back on the tools after being off them for nearly 2 years!
Is this full time or casual? Have you decided if you are going to keep it or quit?
Its a full time job and going to do everything I can to keep it. They dont close down for xmas it is one of their busiest times of the year and they have lots of overtime avaiable apperently also. I will be doing as much o.t as I can handle to catch up fiancially and I really need to update my car too. Cant wait!
Mechanic/Maintenance work on Construction Access Equipment like Boom lifts, Scissor lifts and some Forklifts awell. Lots of o.t apparently!
Glad to hear. Please try and stay with it. Think of the regular pay coming in. Is the job working for Santa? He is very busy making things with his elves all year. There is a round 66 50 for you if you can hang onto it for 66 days. Let us know how it goes and how your new workplace and work mates work out.
...and I'll give you 1oz of silver if you are still full-time employed in a years time. Doesnt have to be this current job either, just as long as you are working. Serious offer, I hope you stick at it.
