Not to mention some BMWs are built in South Africa! Here in Sydney, i associate most BMWs with Middle Eastern hoodlums and their ill gotten proceeds from crime/drugs. They seem to be the ones driving Beemers around.
Same in Melbourne Second hand BMW coupes = drug dealer  BUT They only buy the 3 series They wouldn't buy a 5 series or an older 7 series No taste Yes another reason I don't like BMW's the cheaper ones are built in South Africa
I had an old 3 Series BMW. It was indestructible, or it felt like it until I blew a head gasket. Bear in mind the car was 25 years old by then and I'd driven it like the clappers for about 5 years. Sadly the next owner didn't cherish it as much as I did and it's now in the big showroom in the sky.
In a few years time, people who drive reasonable/good cars will be associated with stackers who got their ill gotten proceeds from PM's. Just wait and see stackers become demonised!
I can just imagine the Current Affair clip: Later on ACA. They live among us, they could be your workmate, uncle, brother, or mother. They call themselves "Stackers" in reference to 'stacking' gold and silver bullion. This fringe group claims their recently acquired wealth is actually from legitimate investment activities. See how an ACA insider infiltrated this group to expose many of their their subversive activities ...
I personally think Holdens collapse if it happens will send shockwaves through the countries economy with so many secondary supplier jobs lost also.......It may be then that they call a recession and we start seeing some retraction in the housing sector and quite a few sell offs also?
As long as 500,000 people p.a. are given the red carpet welcome to Oz, and 80% of them continue to settle in Sydney and Melbourne, property prices will not decrease by too much there. Perth, Adelaide and the rest are a different story and more dependent on mining, manufacturing etc.
